Fixed Term Membership
Many Houstonians work in the energy industry which requires its employees to be transient. Westwood has addressed this concern for those who know they will only live in Houston for a short period of time. For those who qualify, a 2 year no obligation membership is now available at Westwood Golf Club. This membership allows the Fixed Term Member full access to all member events (non-voting) and club amenities.
Westwood understands that plans change. If after your 2 year membership, you wish to convert to Regular Membership, you may apply half your Fixed Term Membership Initiation Fee toward the market rate Regular Membership Initiation Fee.
Recallable Membership
This program offers another alternative to Regular Membership until the membership reaches its cap of 350 members. At the time the membership reaches capacity, the first recallable member in the queue is required either to convert to a full membership by paying the Conversion Price or withdraw, in which case the member would forfeit their payments.
Conversion to Regular Membership is required when we receive the application for our 351st member. At that time the Recallable Member can either convert or withdraw. A Recallable member has the option, at any time prior to their second anniversary to elect to purchase a Regular Membership at the then applicable market price (plus any assessment which had occurred if applicable) and would receive a credit of 50% of the Base Fee. This fee can be applied to the final installment payment if the installment payment option is available at the time chosen by the Recallable Member.
