Katherine Pavelich
Director of Membership Sales
katyp@wwgolfclub.com
Originally from Dexter, Michigan, Katy moved to Houston after graduating from Western Michigan University in Kalamazoo in 2006. While at WMU, Katy majored in Organizational Communication. As a student, she worked as a membership advisor for West Hills Athletic Club, the university's private tennis and fitness facility.
Her professional experience includes working as the South-West Regional Sales Representative for ProGrass Synthetic Turf. ProGrass LLC is a leading installer of synthetic turf athletic playing surfaces among high schools and universities. Her fields include House Park Stadium in Austin, Texas as well as Cajun Field at The University of Louisiana Lafayette.
Katy began her work at Westwood only weeks before Hurricane Ike slammed into the Texas coast. It was a great time to see the staff and membership of the club come together to reopen the course just days after the storm. To be a part of Westwood's future and to continue to learn more about it's amazing past is a true pleasure for Katy.
