Westwood Golf Club is proud to announce an exclusive relationship with the Houston Racquet Club, offering a combination of two of the finest facilities in Houston. This affords our Members and their guests access to the most modern, yet classic facility available in Houston.
The Houston Racquet Club represents a unique alternative in country clubs in the area. It starts with its incomparable tennis facilities, but goes much further than that.
Founded in 1968, HRC was the first major club in this part of the country to be devoted primarily to tennis. During the three decades since its inception, the club has played a major role in the game of tennis and the community. HRC has been rated among the Top Fifty Clubs in the United States by Tennis Magazine, and was the recipient of the 2007 Organization of the Year Award for the entire United States by the United States Tennis Association.
Situated on 31 beautifully landscaped and wooded acres in the heart of the fashionable Memorial neighborhood, HRC is an oasis of secure relaxation providing unparalleled tennis, fitness and distinctive social atmosphere. The agreement between the two Clubs offer Members several ways to enjoy HRC. First, Members of Westwood Golf Club enjoy full Food & Beverage priviledges at the Houston Racquet Club, which includes selected Club functions, dining and private parties. (Please call for reservations.) Secondly, joint Members of both Westwood Golf Club and the Houston Racquet Club receive a 10% reduction in dues at both clubs.
